This course comprises of a day’s worth of online learning over two half-day sessions, with one hour ‘pre-learning’ and one hour ‘homework’; provided by our partner Coral Mountain. Running on these dates and times (all times are in BST):

Understand greenhouse gas emissions specific to the food sector and how your choices can significantly reduce their impacts in all parts of the food chain – from farm to fork to foodwaste. Learn how the carbon emissions vary in how both plant and animal based products are cultivated, stored and transported.
Anyone can learn to 'Speak Carbon'. Our accessible and easy to digest learning Labs have been designed so that everyone gets something out of them: from beginners to seasoned campaigners, with collaboration and action at the core of what we aim to achieve.
When you have completed a days’ worth of Carbon Literacy training, you will join our growing network of trainers, specialists and folk who Speak Carbon. Bringing together all communities and organisations; working collaboratively to achieve our mission of making: one day’s Carbon Literacy learning available to everyone.
Carbon Literacy: “An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.” Today, over 17,000 individuals and more than 40 organisations are Carbon Literate.
Attending all parts of the course is required to earn your Carbon Literacy Certificate. If any of the dates are problematic please get in touch and we will book you on to alternative dates. Alternatively, ask Speak Carbon for details about providing in-house group training.
